If you're looking for a premium Android tablet, Samsung's Galaxy Tabs are terrific options. Not only do the latest Galaxy Tab S8 models compete head to head with the rival iPad in terms of design and build quality, but Samsung's slate also comes with a few features not available on Apple's tablet, including a desktop DeX mode, various screen sizes and resolutions, and integration into the Samsung and Windows ecosystems.

Here are some of the best deals we've found for Samsung's slate if you're in the market for a premium, high-end Android tablet:

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra for $969 ($1,100) at AmazonThe Ultra version of Samsung's current Galaxy Tab S8 series, with its 14.6-inch display, is one of the largest consumer tablets on the market today. While the large size may make the slate feel unwieldy to use hand-held as a tablet, it's great for content consumption and makes photos and videos shine. And the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra isn't just all play and no work, as the large screen makes this a perfect laptop replacement, especially when paired with the keyboard folio, to create and edit documents and spreadsheets, manipulate photos, and do Internet research. Turn on DeX desktop mode and you'll even have moveable and resizeable desktop windows, similar to macOS and Windows. The slate comes with 128GB of storage and 8GB of memory.

If you want to save some money, consider the refurbished version of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet with 128GB of storage for just $730, down from its listed price of $969 at Amazon.

Sadly, however, the Book Cover Keyboard case, which integrates the kickstand, isn't on sale and retails for $300.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ (refurbished) for $800 ($1,100) at AmazonDespite sharing a similar screen measurement to Apple's larger iPad Pro, the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S8+ has a different aspect ratio. Whether or not you're a fan of the form factor, the longer screen makes it better in landscape mode, offering you plenty of screen real estate to create and consume content when paired with a folio keyboard case. The steep discount on this model is because it has been refurbished by Amazon, and it comes with 512GB of storage.

The Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S8+ is not on sale and adds $230 to the total.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ (new) for $804 ($900) at AmazonThere's not much difference in price between this new version of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8+ and the refurbished model on our list except for the storage capacity. If you absolutely must have a new slate, this entry-level 12.4-inch version has 128GB of storage for almost the same price as the 512GB refurbished version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 for $600 ($700) at AmazonAs the smallest iteration of Samsung's tablets in the lineup, the standard Galaxy Tab S8 comes with a respectable 11-inch display size that makes it great for travel. Like its more expensive stablemates, the Galaxy Tab S8 ships with an S Pen for doodling and drawing on that display, which packs in a respectable resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels. If you want to save some extra money, going with a refurbished model will get you the same tablet for just $550, a savings of $50 off of its normal list price.

Pair the Galaxy Tab S8 with Samsung's Book Cover Keyboard case, which is now discounted to $118 from its original $200 price, and you have a competent laptop alternative.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE for $450 ($530) at AmazonSamsung's FE series balances power, performance, and price, making it a solid option for price-conscious savvy shoppers who may not need or want all the high-end features and would rather seek a solid bargain. Based on the prior-generation Galaxy Tab S7 series, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE still has commendable specs and performance, including its 12.4-inch display, octa-core Snapdragon processor, and S Pen and keyboard support. The only big thing holding this slate back is its 64GB of storage. Still, if you have kids in the house, this could be a great option for school-age children.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ for $500 ($850) at Best BuyFor a $50 premium on sale compared to the Galaxy Tab S7 FE on our list, the S7+ is arguably the better tablet. Not only does this slate come with 128GB of storage, it also comes with a better Snapdragon 865+ processor, dual rear cameras, and a better front camera, and it can process better audio with its quad-speaker array with Dolby Atmos support. If you can make the splurge, we'd recommend going with the S7+ over the Tab S7 FE.
